About the Golf Outing

In 2002, Paul Bowden started the Tommy Bowden Memorial Golf Outing:

The months following 09/11/2001 were an extremely difficult time for all of us. While realizing the need to move forward, I also wanted to do something positive to remember my brother and help with the healing process. Therefore, earlier this year I began researching the idea of a golf outing, which I felt would be an appropriate way to memorialize Tommy as well as raise funds in his name to be used for charitable purposes.

The Thomas H. Bowden, Jr. Memorial Golf Outing Fund was created and registered with both the Attorney General's Office in New Jersey, as well as with the IRS.  This year's event is being held to benefit Tommy's daughters, Sara and Alyson, educational needs. I hope that this becomes the first of many events held in Tommy's memory.

Tommy fulfilled many roles in his lifetime. He was a husband and father; a son, grandson, brother and nephew; an uncle and godfather; and a friend to many. He touched so many lives on so many different levels.  He will not be forgotten.
